Can I type on my keyboard?
Yes. Use digits, the decimal point, + - * /, brackets, Enter or = for the result, Backspace to delete one character and Esc to clear.
Does it follow the order of operations?
Yes. Multiplication and division are done before addition and subtraction, and brackets are done first.
Is the history saved?
Only while the page is open. It keeps your last 10 calculations in memory and clears when you reload. Click an entry to bring its result back.
How many decimals does it show?
Up to 8. Results are rounded to 8 decimal places.
Why do I see an error?
The expression is incomplete or invalid, for example an unclosed bracket or a division with nothing after it.
